There would be no violent drug pushers if it weren’t for drug users.
Users create the demand that fuels the lifestyles of the rich and ugly.
Bikie gangs are so central to the illicit drug industry so users are part of their chain.
Drug cartels have no regard for the toxicity of the illicit drugs they create exposing users to serious health hazards apart from the hazards of the drugs themselves

DRUG ADVISORY COUNCIL COMMENTS-
These arguments could apply to any part of Australia not just the drug killings in Victoria.
Reducing the demand for illicit drugs and substantially reducing the number of illicit drug users has many benefits for all Australia.
Elimination of violent drug killings alone would pay off in better health for former users and reduced call on medical resources.
Effective court supervised early intervention drug rehabilitation that leads to a drug free life whilst initially costly would pay off in the long term.
Reducing the demand for illicit drugs would pay off in a safer community.
THE DRUG ADVISORY COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA SUPPORTS-
More detoxification & rehabilitation that gets illicit drug users drug free.
Court ordered and supervised detoxification & rehabilitation.
Less illicit drug users, drug pushers and drug related crimes.
