GERMAN INJECTING ROOMS FAIL

 

Heroin injecting rooms are a failure in Germany as the German government moves to give out free heroin to addicts.

 

Just like the Dutch, the Germans are moving from failed injecting rooms to failed prescription heroin and now to giving out free heroin.

 

There are 120,000 heroin addicts in Germany of which only 1,100 will be given the free heroin.

 

German heroin addicts spend about $A 3,500 every month or $A42,000 every year to buy heroin from drug pushers.

 

The German government will spend $A17 million or $A15,000 to buy heroin for each addict on the program.

 

Addicts will be excluded if they do not pass a fitness and psychological test to ensure that the program results are “not fatal”.

 

Addicts with prolonged bronchitis, respiratory problems, ulcers, weight loss, infections, cardiac irregularities, insulin dependent diabetes, liver diseases, depression, anxiety, insecurity and psychosomatic illnesses will be excluded. The majority of addicts have one or more of these problems so any results will be distorted.

 

COMMENT

German officials will obtain the heroin from drug pushers and international criminal gangs.

Injecting room failure leads to heroin trial failure and then free heroin.

The German government should put the $A17 million into detoxification and rehabilitation?

Why won’t the German government help its most vunerable people?

We MUST learn from the German’s mistakes.
